Hana’s (Kyoko Fukada) comes from a family that has been thieves for generations. Hana refuses to become a thief and she wants to live a normal life. She currently works as a librarian and she is dating Kazuma (Koji Seto), who works as a public officer. She hears that Kazuma’s family are all public officers. One day, Hana visits Kazuma’s family. She discovers that Kazuma ’s family, including Kazuma, are actually all police officers.
Hana gets involved in a case and falls into trouble. To help Hana, Kazuma helps Hana’s family commit theft. (asiawiki-2019)

Welp, that went downhill pretty quickly.
Of course it has good stuff, but the bad part is worse.
Good: I like the parody aspect, like the drama didn't take itself serious at all. From the L Clan and their costumes, and how the Grandma picks a lock, to the musical part and, well, everything in general. The mother is actually around 5 years older than Hana, and her "older" brother is actually younger by more than 10 years. I loved, LOVED, the musical part. Besides Hana's parents (the mother was specially so fun and crazy) I loved, LOVE the actor who portrayed Enzoji (Onuki Yusuke). He was so corny but handsome and his voice was beautiful and his dancing and every time he moved was breath-taking. I would love to see a musical with this actor! He was always making me laugh :D
Bad: the whole Romeo-and-Juliet love story bored me to death... Hana and Kazuma were the most pathetic main characters in a drama I've ever seen in the last years. They were always crying, moping, crying, moping... Fukada Kyoko was worse than ever, her terrible acting distracted me a big deal, her lifeless eyes and pouty mouth were awful. I wish a younger actress was picked, not her! She was way too old and stiff in everything for this role. As for Seto Koji, just when I started to like him (after Manpuku) he comes and chooses the most boring character, useless and crying all the time. And with his feminine looks, he looked worse :(
The disappointment of the season.... Maybe if it wasn't Fukada Kyoko I would have liked it a little bit more.
**My rating: 5/10**
