Saki Ogiwara (Miho Kanno) is a 32-year-old clerk at a law firm. Her goal is to become a lawyer, even though she has failed her bar exam 9 years in a row ...
Saki's friend Riko Asami (Hiromi Nagasaku) is a housewife and mother of two children. Riko leads a life as a socialite and is willing to tell lies to obtain what she wants ... (asiawiki-2010)

There were some nice scenes since this is a slice of life, about an antisocial woman who makes her first 2 friends for the first time in her 32-years of life. I honestly thought that she was going to be some sort of weird girl, but she wasn't. It's true that she has her weird quirks, but they were part of her charm. Honestly, her biggest charm was probably the actress, Kanno Miho, who is not only a good actress, but also adorable without being "kawaii".
There were 2 surprises, one nice and the other not that nice. The nice one is that I thought her ex-boyfriend would be a jerk, and he sort of was, but he wasn't a bad person. He truly cared for Saki but he was also a chauvinistic guy. He more or less redeems himself at the end. Thank Heavens, because I like Tsukamoto Takashi; he always plays nice guys. His dimples and red lips are a big plus XD
The not-nice surprise is that one of Saki's new friends has to go and fall in love with her. I like the trio, they were all good friends and care for each other, but the guy has to ruin things by falling for her. And I am not sure about the ending, but it sorts of implies that (since Saki only wants to be his friend) he fell for the other friend. Hmph.
What I thought was HMPH was that Riko was so nice to her awful family (husband and mother in law). She was too forgiven, why! He was an unfaithful husband, she was a witch who took away her children. And still she was kind to that witch! Hmph.
On the other hand, I liked Riko. I think the actress, Nagasaku Hiromi, speaks a bit too, well, more suited for anime and theater. But I loved her smile :) The soundtrack was also nice. The one that accompanies the dorama more than the other one (the one that starts playing once Saki finishes her explosion).
This is one of those nice doramas that I won't bothered to re-watch. It was pleasant, but that was it.
**My rating: 7/10**
