sunako_yueRiko Shirono (Mikako Tabe) doesn't have any big expectations for a man in her life, but she works as a love simulation game planner. She receives a request for a new love game from app company TIMEIS. Soichiro Kurokawa (Issei Takahashi) is the CEO for the company. He is almost perfect, but he can't understand woman’s mind.
One day, Soichiro Kurokawa (Issei Takahashi), who likes his subordinate Momose, asks Riko to teach him about love techniques. Due to Riko Shirono’s help, Soichiro and Momose get close, but Riko finds herself becoming attracted to Soichiro Kurokawa. (asiawiki-2016)
Phew, what a long title. Anyway, I loved this short movie (I wonder if it is really 1 hour 30 min long; at the end shows something and it is suddenly cut). It felt like a chick-lit. There was a good chemistry between Tabe-chan and Takahashi. My favorite scene was where they were in the manga cafe, super cute, and you can see how the friendship blooms.
I almost wanted to shake Shirono for falling in love with the boss. Can't a man and a woman be friends? Kurokawa is such a nice guy, who lacks some things (like subtlety, being nice with a woman, etc) but he is kind, and a very good friend. Shirono is his first female best friend, and he is Shirono's first male best friend. They were so comfortable with each other, till she goes and falls for him.
But I would have been the same if I was in her shoes. I would have fallen for him as hard as she, so it was understandable. Couldn't blame her at the end :(
I loved the cast. Tabe-chan suits this kind of character, the serious one, the one who scowls, the one who isn't too girlish. She is cute without acting cute-ish. She is pretty without being too pretty. It's her smile I think. Takahashi Issei is good at everything he does, no need to add more. Oomasa Aya was excelent as the first love interest, since she is pretty, and nice, and I like that she remains nice till the end. No need to make the first love interest a mean girl by the end. There is also Shison Jun who is the first male interest of Shirono (not really), who was good, nothing special; and Tanaka Koji as the owner of the cafe.
The only complain I have is that, since it was so short, some scenes were extremely rushed. Some parts I even though Shirono was day-dreaming, like when the boss was confessing his feelings to his first love interest, and when the first male love interest was confessing to Shirono. Too fast.
The setting was gorgeous. I wonder if the final scene took place in Yokohama...
Mini-reunion (although not really, since they don't have a scene together): Tanaka Koji and Yamada Yuki (Aihara Dad and Kin-chan from INK:LIT).
