Tonbi

Yasuo (Seiyo Uchino) grew up as an orphan. He then married and the couple conceived son Akira (later played by Takeru Satoh). Yasuo's life seemed great, raising his son with his wife. Then tragedy struck and Yasuo's wife died in an accident. Yasuo was then forced to raise Akira alone from the age of 3. (asiawiki-2013)

OVERRATED. Where were the promised tears that I was going to have while watching this? I think that 99% of the reviews I've read tears were included. My eyes were driest than the desert all the time I was watching this drama. And unfortunately Ushino Masaki was MEH, and Sato Takeru was not memorable for me, once more.

I think the relationship between father and son was rather toxic sometimes, and when it wasn't, it was idealistic. I honestly couldn't stand the father, he was vulgar and clingy and noisy and too loud. I can't understand how the owner of the bar cared more about her friend's son than about her own daughter.

I struggled to finish this. Nice cast but very forgettable :(
