For entertainment purposes, this was a very good rom-com drama. The "com" was excellent, I laughed several times and there were few dull moments. Plot is not original, but how it was presented is. Kudos for eh MVP of the drama, Editor-in-Chief, played by Iseya Yusuke. What a charming guy! His voice, his expressions, everything. I loved his little lessons on fashion. In that sense, and that it is set in a magazine editorial, it was similar to "Jimi ni Sugoi!" For that alone I would have given it a higher rating.
The "rom" part, however, was bland. I think most girls would want to marry/date a guy like Kashiwagi in real life: handsome, kind, hard-working and nice. However, in my case, when I watch dramas, I prefer the male interest to be someone like Usami-san, who loves to tease and is a joy to watch. There was no chemistry between Haru and Yoshizawa Ryo, and it may be because both were (or are?) very bland actors. However, there WAS a chemistry between Haru and Usami-san, and I am sure it was because of Iseya Yusuke.
Besides, Sayaka doesn't make up her mind till the last minutes, and I find all the proposals before even 1 kiss very lame. And that kiss in the last episode was so lame! Haru can't kiss and can barely act in a rom-com. She has no spark, and her clothes are very lame as well, which doesn't help. The "rom" was very boring; but at the same time, they totally deserved each other, since both of them were very boring as well.
Nevertheless, it was a fun drama. I am not sure if I would re-watch it but I can certainly recommend it, especially to girls who like pretty boys as the main love interest (over a not-so-pretty but still charming and with a fun personality 2nd lead).
