Toshiaki (Kosuke Yonehara) is a young gay man. On the first day of work, he meets Yosuke (Masashi Taniguchi) in the elevator. Yosuke is Toshiaki’s new boss. Toshiaki is attracted to Yosuke. Toshiaki can't be honest with his feelings due to a traumatic incident from his past.

I am very pleased with this live action. It was very well done, the actors did a wonderful job and what I liked the most is that it was very faithful to the manga. I love the manga to death; it is one of my favorite yaoi manga. It is sweet, it feels real, and it is very touching. I love that the live action has most of the script word by word from the manga. At times it felt a bit slow, but I think it was in part fault of the angles of the camera or others for the lack of a proper soundtrack.

The guy who played Shima did it very well. At first, I thought he was not cute enough. I wished someone else cuter was chosen. He looked to miserable (which, at the same time, was ok). But my biggest concern was that he looked too much like Miyake Ken, but less pretty. But as the movie was progressing, I changed my mind and thought he did excellent.

The actor who played Togawa looked very much like the manga version. Maybe a bit older (Togawa was almost 30, this actor looked like he was in his 35's). My complaint about these two would be their lack of chemistry. They were not stiff (as it happens in other yaoi live actions... **coughTakumicough**. In fact, their sex scene looked sweet, even. But they seemed more friendly than loving, in my opinion. I can't say they were bad because it wasn't... but I was a bit disappointed in their lack of showing they truly love each other.

What I liked that it wasn't in the script:
when Shima kind of rejects Togawa and Togawa asks him to have sex for the last time. Thankfully, that part is omitted in the movie. I don't know, I feel like it wasn't necessary and it was kind of cruel on Togawa's side to do that. In fact, I liked that only their first time together was filmed; not even that part where they do it in Togawa's department with full clothes on.

What I did not like that it wasn't in the script:
The train scene. That scene was one of my favorite in the manga; it was good for Shima and it was so cute that Togawa did that. Why they did not include it in the live action is a sin.

And, as it happens in the manga, the end was.. "what?! and then?".

Although I haven't watched many -or none- yaoi live action so far, this is and probably will be my favorite.

My rating: 9/10
