Mei Aihara (Mikako Tabe) is a single woman. She works hard as a medical representative at a pharmaceutical company. Unlike her performance at work, she is not proficient at all doing housework. On the night of her 28th birthday, a strange man appears at her messy home. The strange man is Nagisa Shigino (Nao Omori), who is an excellent housekeeper. Mei Aihara doesn't want to hire him, but she ends up hiring him as her housekeeper. Meanwhile, Yuta Tadokoro (Koji Seto) appears in front of Mei Aihara. Yuta Tadokoro works as a medical representative for a rival pharmaceutical company. (asianwiki-2020)

My favorite drama of the year, hands down. It was perfect since it has a bit of everything: made me smile the whole time I was watching it, made me go "awwwww" and "ahhhh" many times, made me cry once; made me root for the characters, love the setting (Yokohama); love the cast and all the warm feelings it made me feel. Not since Hajikoi I was this excited with a drama, searching for other comments (almost none) from other fans.
Coincidentally, Tabe Mikako was my choice for Harumi when I was watching Hajikoi. So I am happy she got a role in a drama as charming and successful as Hajikoi was in 2019.
And just like in Hajikoi, there are a couple of possible love interest that make people root for A or B. And just like in Hajikoi, the heroine has only interest in one although there is a "better" option for her in the form of a successful, young and good looking rival. So while many people may be pissed because she doesn't pick the most "obvious" guy, I am beyond happy with the result.

In that sense it is like Nigehaji... sometimes the heroine does pick the less obvious option (2nd male love interest)... not always the hero is a handsome, confident guy. Nagisa-san is as respectful and adorable as Hiramasa was. And what is best, Mei feels herself and confides in him, isn't that most wonderful than a romance based on a crush? A more mature romance. And just like Hoshino Gen, Omori Nao may not be a conventional handsome guy, but he is charming and precisely because of that is that the audience can fall and root for him. Not all heroes need to look like models.
Mei has the most interesting wardrobe in the entire drama; some were a choice (many layers!) and some were nice. But the most I liked about her were her accessories: headband, earrings, rings, etc. Adorable! Better fashion sense than Harumi.
The final episode was so cute! I love that we can hear her thoughts... how Nagisa was like a God to her. I don't know why would people root for Tadokoro (except because he was younger and more handsome) since she never saw him any other way than as a rival. For the whole drama she had zero romantic interest nor any interest in him at all.
Also, everything that was about Yui and her relationship with her mom... made me cry in Ep05! This drama was very wholesome, with the family aspect and professional aspect. Not only the MR field, but also to not take housekeeping for granted. It is not a shameful job, which Mei and her mother come to realize after knowing Nagisa-san.
Ahhh I want to read the manga too... I am currently reading Hajikoi (more than 1 year later). It wasn't easy to find a translation... I wonder if I have to wait a year to read "Kaseifu Nagisa-san" manga??
Mini-Reunion: Nagisa-san and Hashio-san from Kounodori; Mei's ex-boss was also in Kounodori.
EDIT: I looved the SP! It may have around 20minutes of new scenes only, but they are about their married lives, mostly about their first argument <3 Besides, I loved to recap the whole drama; once again I wondered why would people root for Tadokoro?? She never had any interest in him besides the professional one; she was never at ease with him and never had any curiosity to find more about him. And that scene where he cleans her mouth... so cringe and overstepping her boundaries! And anyway, everyone could sense at first glance that something was going on btw Mei and Nagisa-san (the matching clothes in ep02 was a big hint).

**My rating: 10/10**
