Kikazaru Koi niha Riyuu ga Atte
Jun. 28th, 2021 01:17 pmKurumi Mashiba (Haruna Kawaguchi) works for home decor company ‘el Arco Iris’. Her job is to do PR activities for the company. She runs social media pages for el Arco Iris and she has accumulated over 100,000 followers for the company. While she is busy with work, she forgets to renew the contract of her apartment. Because of this, she gets kicked out of her apartment and she doesn't have a place to stay. Her friend Koko Saotome, who is a popular food stylist, tells her that she can live with her. Koko Saotome lives in a luxury apartment in Omotesando. Before Kurumi Mashiba arrived at the apartment, she thought her friend Koko Saotome lived alone there. But, Koko Saotome actually shares the apartment with three people: Shun Fujime (Ryusei Yokohama), Haruto Terai (Ryuhei Maruyama) and Ayaka Hase (Anne Nakamura). Shun Fujime is a minimalist who pursues simple life and he is a cook. Haruto Terai does online counseling. Ayaka Hase is an artist and works part-time as a delivery person.

This is the kind of drama and role I wanted for Ayano Go and Ishihara Satomi :( A hardworking young woman who knows what she wants, dresses good and stylish, has an interesting work and has a voice. A carefree young man who knows what he wants and is decent, a nice person and you can see why they fell for each other. In summary, a TBS drama without cliches... that's what I wanted for them :(
I liked the sharing house since all characters were mature and likeable and no one was annoyingly nice or meddlesome... in fact, all of them had their own life problems that weren't too heavy. But still were there for the MC.
Kawaguchi Haruna looked specially nice in those clothes, make-up and nail painting O_O her nails are so pretty... I wish Yokohama Ryusei's character were most honest, I don't like when they keep it all for themselves, and in a moment, I was wondering why Kurumi wasn't still in love with her boss, the charming Mukai Osamu, who was a sweetheart and the main inspiration for her professional life. Her boss was kind and hardworking as well... his only fault? his late realization that he also liked Kurumi **facepalm** She waited 7 years and nothing, and only now that she finally moved one he realizes he liked her **facepalm**. His only fault, like I said, because he was the nicest guy ever. And stupid Shun with all the undecision and the "are they, aren't they"... I don't know how Kurumi stand it, to go out with a guy and not know if they were going out or not... in the final episode is when he asks her out **facepalm**
The ending was a bit mushy with all the weddings and HEA... it didn't ruin the drama but I would have preferred a less romantic ending.
My rating: **8.5/10**
