Jun. 25th, 2018 08:47 amTwo detectives communicate through a walkie-talkie to solve a cold case. One detective exists in the present day and the other detective exists 15 years in the past. (asiawiki-2018)

This drama would have been a lot better if it were condensed into a 2-hour movie. Like the movie "Frequency", which is very similar to this drama. I feel like they spend so much time with unnecessary drama and long pauses. For example, they spend a lot of time with the walkie-talkie; Saegusa was mostly just shouting "Detective Oyama!, Detective Oyama!", and the detective was mostly just lamenting that he couldn't do a thing. Instead of Saegusa telling Oyama what he needed to do, and other important pieces of the murders, they almost always were losing time with pauses and regrets.
The cold cases were mostly boring, and it was worst because supposedly "the past can be change" but it was all worthless. When I got to the final episode I was like "all those 10 episodes were for nothing".
I like Kentaro but he was terrible here. Too much overacting. But worst than him was Kitamura Kazuki, as the wimpy Oyama. He was too emotional and worthless.
I think that it was a plothole, the ending. If the past could changed, how come Saegusa and Sakurai were able to remember everything? It didn't make any sense.
Not interested in a sequel. Please, Sakaguchi Kentaro, pick your projects better! "Juhan Shuttai" is still obviously his best work.
