One rainy day, a blind woman shelters from the rain in Eiji's shop. This is Eiji's first encounter with Miou Shirato. Recently, Eiji's 8-year old daughter Shizuku constantly wears a hood over her head and refuses to take it off. He consults Keiko Hishida, the woman who taught Eiji everything about flowers, but she doesn't have a clue about Shizuku's behavior. One day, Eiji is delivering flowers to a night club, when he comes across Naoya Kudo being accused by his colleagues. Eiji rescues Naoya from the argument and invites him to stay at his home. The few reviews I've read about this drama said that it was a very heartwarming story. Well, it was in som parts, but it was not the whole thing. It was more dramatic than I thought, most of the times like a soap opera. There are double agents (Mio-san) who unwillingly tries to get closer to Eiji to ruin him, except that she falls for him. There are lots of tears (all of them probably cry at some point), a few screams (Mio-san in the last episode was a bit exaggerated... I almost had to mute the sound because she was shouting like a mad woman), a very depressing leading male, who is also unrealistically nice (saves everyone, either friend or enemy; gives all his money and savings to save the girl, forgives everyone, etc), a little twist (that surprised me since I didn't see that coming) and well, all becoming friends by the end, and everything was forgiven and forgotten like nothing happened :S

But I can say that I loved the little girl, she was (is?) a good actress. She moved me with her tears, and she was the saving grace of the drama: her relationship with her dad was truly nice. There are many moments between her and Shingo that I loved, like when he had to guess between the 20 masked girls who was his daughter. They had a beautiful relationship. I also liked the group of friends Eiji makes: his neighbor, his daughter's teacher, Naoya... all cared for him and tried to help him.

On the other hand, I didn't care for the romance. I couldn't care neither for Eiji nor for Mio. They were kinda pathetic, if I have to be honest :( and Mio was kinda annoying and not-cute-at-all with her "Ohanaya-san?" all the freaking time.

Eiji's friend... who is that guy!? Truly handsome. He needed a haircut during this drama, but he looked like a model nevertheless... I need to see him again (he is supposedly in "Okusama wa..." but I don't remember him.. what! I forgot that chiseled face!!)

Ending song was ugly, but the OST that accompanies the story was nice.

**My review: 6.5/10**
