Galileo - my review

Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama) is a physicist. He is nicknamed "Galileo" for being a genius and blessed with analytical abilities that even the police look up to. Yukawa's partner is a female rookie cop, Kaoru Utsumi (Kou Shibasaki). The two set out to unravel mysterious crimes one after another. (asianwiki-2007)

Good cases, but then, I am a fan of Keigo Hirashino. All cases have a twist. Starts like a supernatural one, but turns out it is just a good crime. There were some familiar guests; such as Shingo from SMAP (I disliked the fanservice they provided here... what was the need to show us Shingo taking a shower, ergo, his butt??); Horikita Maki (who, thankfully, doesn't say a thing... she is just there, being cute); Fukada Kyoko (I did not understand her story... what was the point of getting a divorce if she was after her husband's money??); Hirosue Ryoko...

My favorite character was, no doubt, Utsumi (Shibasaki Kou). I really like this actress, she was funny and cute, and had initiative, besides being so pretty XD On the other hand, I did not like Fukawa-sensei. Every time he had to do his formula to figure things out! What a joke, he looked really ridiculous. Not to mention, his pose with his hand on his face. Poor guy...

Kitamura Kazuki, Galileo's friend, is listed as one of the main characters, but he was in like, 3 episodes.

OP song was good. The ending song was ok I guess. I really did not pay any attention to it.
