She learns about editing from senior editor Kei Iokibe (Joe Odagiri). She becomes fascinated with the edition world including talking with manga writers, discovering new manga writers and efforts to reprint manga books.
The publishing industry is going through a turbulent time due to ebooks. Members of the editorial department struggle to come up with ways to sell more manga books (asianwiki-2016).

What a lovely dorama! The plot was super interesting, I love all the characters, the setting was so mabushii, so bright and colorful and clean. If I had to rate like in mydramalist, it would be like this:
*Story: 10/10
*Acting/Cast: 10/10
*Music: 9.5/10
*Rewatch-value: 9.5/10 (just because some scenes would lose it essence in the re-watching)
Since I am a big fan of BAKUMAN, it was impossible not to link them both. One is from the Mangaka's POV, the other
The cast was marvelous. I was familiar with most of the secondary characters only; more specifically, the mangakas (Mikurayama-sensei, Takahata-sensei...). And of course, Namase Katsuhisa-san. But this is the first time I see Kuroki

**sighs** Odagiri Joe... I've read some lists before were he was mentioned, like "more kissable lips" or whatever, but have never paid him any attention. My, I was so impressed with this guy. Let's talk first about his role. Iokibe-san is one

I recommend this dorama a hundred times Top quality, top cast, excellent story, I loved it!
**My rating: 10/10**
