Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo
Sakura Nanase is a 22-year-old rookie nurse. She met Doctor Tendo Kairi several years ago and fell in love with him. To meet him again, she studied hard and became a nurse. After 5 years, she finally meets Tendo again, but he has a totally different personality than what she imagined. Tendo, who is 33-years-old, is commonly referred to as the "Devil" at work. He is a level-headed perfectionist and often makes biting remarks to doctors and nurses. Sakura works hard to receive recognition from Tendo and she also expresses her feelings honestly to him. Due to her persistence, Sakura becomes well known at the hospital and she picks up the nickname of the "Warrior. Chick" Meanwhile, Tendo becomes attracted to Sakura.(asianwiki-2020)

This drama has been in my "To Avoid" list since it came out. I am glad it is quite popular, even within the non-fans of Jdramas, but I sensed it wasn't for me. And I was unfortunately right. I found out this was on Viki and I really want to support Jdrama in a legal way, so I am watching a couple of dramas I would have, otherwise, not watched.
First of all, I am not a fan of Sato Takeru's acting. In action movies, he is ok, but in drama, comedy and romance, he is such a try-hard. I hate how he deepens his voice and how he squints his eyes.. he looks so dumb.
Mone was fine; I don't mind this kind of female MC at all, like Kotoko. They are young and in love, and it is nice they have a goal in mind, which in this case is to win's her idol's heart. I don't see anything wrong in it, they are not hurting anyone, and they are giving their all to make their idol to love them. In fact, I think it is admirable, because these girls are honest and do not scheme to win them over; they are their real self when they do that.
The first half was ok, just a few cliches here and there, but the last half was so full of cliches I was rolling my eyes most of the times. Accident? Check. Ex-showing up? Almost check (not the ex, but the twin of the ex) Trying to kidnap the heroine but the hero comes just right on time? Check. Sudden study/work outside of the country for a year? Check. Sudden good-looking, rich guy falling for the heroine and making the hero jealous? Check, check, check.
Other romances were MEH for me; I didn't care for any one of them :(
At least the ED song was fun and lovely.
**My rating: 5/10**
